Two men were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly murdering a well-known Vanderbijlpark business woman, Gauteng police said.
Inspector Kinnie Steyn said Dianna Angelbauer, 64, was murdered on Tuesday at 6pm, during a robbery at the pawn shop she owned.
"We are investigating that she may have been hit with a hammer, as she suffered blows to the head," Steyn said.
"Cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken from the shop."
In a police search for her killers, two men, aged 21 and 26, were arrested at their home in Sebokeng at 1.30am.
"No stone was left unturned in our aim to bring the perpetrators to justice."
